When I got home today and jumped on my favorite forum, The Graphic Design Forum I found a thread about a new way for graphic designers to fight spec work. Catherine (cat) Morley of Katz-i International has started a thread in order to get the news out about this crusade. Cat, who is also on the Professional Graphic Designer Association (PGDA) board of directors, listed several ways that designers can become involved. Some of the ways include: blogging about NO!SPEC, back linking to the NO!SPEC website with available logos, signing an online petition and hanging posters designed by Von Glitschka of Glitschka Studios.
I just want to express my gratitude to everyone that was and continues to be involved with this crusade. Designers need to show their support and have to get involved. This effects all designers, all over the world.
